The Norfolk Chronicle of 23rd August 1890 reported that Samuel Roling of the WINDMILL
TAVERN had applied for the transfer of an Off-beer Licence from the OXFORD. The request was granted on condition that
the Spirit Licence of the OXFORD, plus the
Full Licence of the NOTTINGHAM ARMS be dropped.
The OXFORD has not been identified after
