PRINCESS ALEXANDER Gt. YARMOUTH P index
( 17 ? ) NORTH QUAY BEERHOUSE

Licensees :
 ROBERT BESSEY  1856 * - 1871

Robert Bessey, born 1830,  was one of the sons of John Bessey,
licensee of the LORD COLLINGWOOD.

In 1856 he his given as licensee of a beerhouse at North Quay.
In the 1861 he is described as a licensed victualler living at 17 North Quay and in the 1871 census the address is given as 2 Goffins Lane and the house is named the PRINCESS ALEXANDER.

The ONLY confirmation of Robert Bessey being at the PRINCESS ALEXANDER is from the 1871 census.
It is currently uncertain if the Goffins Lane address applies to the same house as the North Quay one.
