Address 1851 as 36 North Quay ?

In August 1890 it was reported that Henry Aldred had repeated his request to the council for compensation for the time he had to close owing to the widening of the North Quay. This was his third application and by a vote of 8 for and 6 against, a sum of £30 was agreed to be paid.
It was heard that Messrs. Lacon had given possession of part of the Pleasure Boat to the Council to allow the widening.

Licence removed to the GALLON POT, Howard Street, 02.03.1926.

Premises still in use as offices 1996.
