Walter Coney was Mayor four times during the 15th C
His coat of arms consisted of Three Conies on a sable shield.
Walter Coney was a benefactor of St Margaret's Church and a prominent
member of the Trinity Guild.
A monumental brass dated 1476 is said today to be largely destroyed, but
known from brass rubbings.
