(First?) Licence granted 24.06.1878.
Offered for sale by auction 22nd July 1878 as the VICTORIA HOTEL.

Named as the VICTORIA HOTEL, Alexander Dock, in 1879 & 1888.

At Pilot Street in 1892.
Estuary Road 1912, 1925, 1933 & 1937
(Later this became John Kennedy Road)

Damaged by enemy action November 1941.

Rebuilt after the war but as reported 09.07.1965 the house proved to be too small. Bullards created a temporary house from 3 specially built prefabricated interlocking units. ``Containing a plush bar with tile flooring and built in settees, a bar annex off-licence department, a beer storage unit and toilets........the caravans will be in use for 12 months....after which customers could move back to a new, spacious Victoria.''

Dock extension added to licence after 1957.

Morgans sales for 1960 were :-
353 barrels of beer
65 spirits (gallons).
