Blofield & Walsham Agricultural Association held an event here Friday 19th October 1849.
There were a total of 36 prizes to be awarded for the best Cattle, Ewes, Lambs & Boars. Prizes varied from the Silver Cup of T. G. Tuck Esq., for the best Fat Steer or Heifer to 10s for the next best foal.
