Seemingly a beerhouse in the 1800's.
However an ON licence first appears in the Licence Register in 1948.
An OFF licence then appears 1958.Bullards records show that the house closed January
1965, this appears to be when it ceased to be a public house, but continued on briefly as
an OFF licence.
Reported at the Property Rationalisation Committee meeting 02.02.1966 as an OFF Licence,
closed since the last meeting of October 1965
