Known for most of the time as the CUTHBERT STORES, see separate entry.

The public bar, at the Cuthbert Stores was closed on the night of 17th September 1966.
The Off licence trade was then transferred to what had been the bar area and extensive renovations of the rest of the building were carried out. Upon completion, the modernisation provided extended off licence facilities and the old bar converted into an office and store.
