As referenced in the Norfolk Chronicle of 27th January 1816. The Fakenham Provident Society collected their Quarterly Subscriptions here Saturday 10th February 1816. Possibly a mistaken identity of the HARE INN since the FPS made collections there at other dates. However the same Society announced in April 1823, February 1826, February 1831 and again November 1831 that Subscriptions would be collected at the SLAVE INN.
