Friday 8th October 1880 - Fine of £1 and 12s costs for selling at prohibited hours on Sunday, 26th September. Customer George Brunton was fined 10s and 12s costs.
Friday 21st November 1919 - Taking into account "that in the 50 years at the house, he had not been any trouble to the magistrates", fined 10s for allowing consumption on the premises during prohibited hours.
Customers Alice Chapman, Maria Tooke and Minnie Steward were each fined 2s 6d. Ernest Howell, a discharged soldier, was fined 10s for giving a false address.
