On Sunday 31st July 1853 Henry Frary, Robert Moore and John Nobes were found to be drunk and riotous and had apparently disturbed a congregation of Primitive Methodists. The following day they were bound over to keep the peace for three months in £10 each and two sureties of £20.
Licensee William Wright was fined £5.
It is unclear if the following had been to the Three Tuns, but John Long, Frederick Flegg and George Flegg were also convicted of drunkenness and disorderly conduct. They were fined 8s 6d, 14s 6d and 16s 6s respectively.

Closed by 11.02.1957 when the licence was transferred to the ODDFELLOWS ARMS, Swaffham.

Still exists as a private dwelling.
