Robert Mallott is identified only as a bricklayer in 1841 at Quidenham Road - age 30 The Quidenham Road address is again given in 1851 and 1881.

In 1871 the address is White Horse Street.

The house is named in the census returns of 1861 and 1871.
In 1861 it is the next entry to the Wesleyan Chapel.

In 1881 Robert Mallott is 76 years old and given as a bricklayer.
He is a beer retailer or running a beerhouse from at least  1845 to 1879.

On 20th January 1886, Mrs Ann Mallott, wife of Robert Mallott, died at the Garden House, aged
 80.

Robert Mallott died during the last quarter of 1890.
