Offered For Sale by Auction Thursday, 12th January 1804.
With out-houses, yards, gardens and orchard. In occupation of the widow of the late Nelson Long.

In 1830, carrier John Wells called every Tuesday morning on route to Norwich. All the Household Furniture and Effects of the late Nelson Long were to be Sold by Auction Thursday, 5th June 1804. Arthur Titlow was fined 15s on Monday 16th September 1901 upon the evidence of Police Constable Palmer who said he had seen the cart in use on several occasions. He had sent Mr. Titlow the usual notices who then claimed that the cart had not been used. He had since taken out a licence. The option to paying the fine was seven days in prison.

No mention found in directories after 1933

The funeral notice of Mr. C. Woodrow took place on Monday 28th February 1938, following his death on Thursday 24th February.  He was 87 years old and "was the licensee of the White Horse Hotel until its closing down about three years ago".

Reported at the Annual General Licensing Meeting, Monday, 4th February 1935, as having been closed by the brewers, during the previous year.

The Norfolk & Suffolk Brewery Co. Ltd. was formed in 1886 by the purchase, acquisition or otherwise, amalgamate, carry on as a going concern and extend, the two old-established and successful businesses known as the Eye Brewery, formerly owned by Messrs. Tacon and then owned by Messrs Harwood & Co, and the Falcon Brewery of Ipswich, together with some 110 Public Houses in Norfolk and Suffolk, plus the Brewery, Eye.
The White Horse, New Buckenham was number 33 on the list and was described as fully licensed with two common rights. Freehold.

The Norfolk & Suffolk Brewery Co. became the Colchester Brewery Company by February 1887.
