Sales reported February 1909 as 299½ barrels during the previous three years. Sales of minerals being about two dozen per week. Little wine was sold.

18th November 1986 - Landlord Alan Gotts reported two raids in three weeks. In the first, £350 was taken from the till and the charity boxes for Handicapped Children and the Lifeboat Appeal were taken in the second robbery.
