Address also given as Melford Bridge Street.

During June 1833, a wall, the property of Walter Tyrell of the Black Horse, was pulled down by mischievous ruffians. On the same night, part of another wall, in front of the old Methodist Chapel, suffered the same fate..

John Walter Tyrell was running a brewery in Magdalen Street in 1839, seemingly at this site.

Valued at £1050 on 25th July 1889
