Became the EAGLE by 1836



  Parson Woodforde visited here 3rd May 1780 and again on 13th March 1785 when Tabitha Bithiah Reeve was Christened.  
     
  John Reeves also performed as a vet, farrier and dentist. He supplied Parson Woodforde with bottles of wine by the dozen, on a regular basis. (On 8th December 1795 one Dozen Port Wine for 20 shillings and 2 Gallons of Rum for 32 shillings)
