George Lockwood is given as a wheelwright and farmer in 1871, 1877 and 1879. In 1881 he is also given as a general dealer and to hold an outdoor beer licence.

Richard Howling is given in 1911 as a Threshing Machine proprietor and Hauling Contractor Etc. - Age 47



According to Edward Hearn, there was second beerhouse operating in Wormegay in 1882, other than his house.

James Thurston is recorded as a Beer Retailer from at least 1888.

Location of this house appears to be a short distance east of the RED LION near what was the smithy. ( Opposite the old Stone Cross )
