** In 1851 George E. Bolingbroke ( 34 ) is given as a wine, spirit, ale & porter merchant at Upper St. Giles, ( possibly at number 92, known to be a Wine & Spirits merchants ). **

At the 1906 licensing sessions it was reported that the house had a 6 day beerhouse licence. A manageress was in charge of the business, which was accessed through a passage situated between two shops and police supervision was a matter of difficulty.

Licence provisionally refused and referred to Compensation 07.02.1906..
Closed under Compensation 08.02.1907.
