The Norfolk Chronicle of 25th October 1794 advertised that the trustees of the late Jeremiah Armon were to offer the house for sale by auction on 11th November 1794.

Address as 85 High Road in 1912, 1925 & 1933
as  84 High Road in 1937.

Included under Gorleston in the 1871 census.

House closed for the duration of WWII according to a letter dated 01.10.1940.

Premises reopened 18.02.1946.

Licence surrendered 5th February 1971
