October 1997

One of 12 houses purchased by Steward & Patteson 03.08.1929 for the total sum of £17,820

One of the very few totally unspoilt licensed houses in Norfolk.

Landlady Winnie Lawes was featured in an article in the Eastern Daily Press 07.10.1997, then celebrating 50 years `behind the bar'.

The house has since closed and plans to convert to a dwelling have been opposed.
