		At the Petty Sessions held 21st February 1850 it was heard that beer had 
		been served in the house, on Sunday 27th January, before mid-day. The 
		name of licensee was reported as Robert Brunton  and the house 
		named HORNS Also identified as the 
		HORNS when the General Courts Baron, for the Manor of 
		Hempton was to sit here, Tuesday 3rd December 1861.
 The Household Furniture of Mr. Robert Brundle was to be Sold by Auction, 
	  Wednesday, 7th October 1863, since he was leaving the occupation. The sale 
	  to include a nearly new zebra-wood cottage pianoforte by Cadby, a dining 
	  booth, with double set of tables and forms, 60ft by 21 ft, with two good 
	  bars and excellent canvas tilt; also a quantity of well-seasoned 
	  wheelwright's stuff; a four-horse-power steam engine, with iron saw bench, 
	  circular saws and boring apparatus......
