| WATCHMAKERS

HORSFORD |

The Norfolk Chronicle
of 10th February 1906 records that Police Inspector Flint reported to the Licensing
Magistrates that :-
``The CROSSKEYS (St. Faiths) had changed tenants 3 times during the previous year, the
CROWN (Horsford) had changed once, the WATCHMAKERS (Horsford)
had changed once, the MARINERS (Felthorpe) had changed once, as had the WHEATSHEAF at
Hainford.''
It is assumed to be an error in transcribing shorthand notes taken at the sessions, and
the Watchmakers should have been published as the Brickmakers? |
