Seemingly a separate outlet for the CROWN

John Crisp, publican of Swaffham, married Miss Ann Wall Bird of Gaywood, 7th September 1837.

John Crisp was an Insolvent Debtor due to appear at the Court House, Norwich on Monday 12th July 1841. He was described as Formerly the Keeper of the Crown Tap, Swaffham, then an Innkeeper at Thetford and late of Thetford, out of business.

Samuel Gurmmet is recorded in the 1851 census under
the CROWN, but as "Keeper of the Tap Room."
