At the Dereham Petty Sessions, Friday 8th February
1856, William Wyatt was accused with an assault on framer John Bayfield.
The magistrates allowed the matter to be settled out of court.
At the Litcham Petty sessions held during the first
week of September 1866, William Wyett and his son Henry Wyett, were
charged with an assault on labourer John Parnell on the night of August.
The case was adjourned until October to allow the attendance of a
witness.
At the October sitting Mr. Wyett settled the case, with assent from the
Bench, by paying costs of £1 13s.

On Wednesday, 14th July 1926 the Norfolk Licensing Committee objected to
the licence of the Holkham Arms and for six other Norfolk houses.
All licences were refused and the amount of compensation would be
determined on 20th October 1926.
Valued at £577 12s 2d (Unlicensed £144 12s 2d) 20th October 1926.
Owners Bullard submitted a compensation claim of £433 12s 2d.
The Committee approved the claim.
