 22nd August 1887 - Landlord Richard Davidson was ordered to pay 1s 6d a 
		week to the Blofield Union for their care of his father. He was also to 
		pay 12s, the cost of the hearing.
 
 1885 & 1890 Ordinance Survey maps show original house some ¼ mile south
      of crossroads. Appears on maps at present position by 1907.
 
 On Wednesday, 16th October 1889, the Licensing Committee granted the 
	  removal of licence from the Cock to a house which was to be turned i9nto a 
	  public house.
 Old Cock referenced in 1901 census where the occupant, Samuel Curtis, is a
      teamster.
