    The NEGRO INN 1851. 
    The quiet little village held its annual dinner for 
	farmers and tradesmen on Tuesday17th November 1863. The evening passed very 
	pleasantly with about forty people attending. Mr. Bales provided a good 
	plain and substantial dinner. 
	 
	On the evening of Tuesday 31st October 1843, the South Pickenham Coursing 
	Party dined at the BLACKAMOOR INN, 
	Colton, and spent the evening in conviviality. 
    Site included Bowling green and 7.5 acres of land when sold 1970.  |
