At the adjourned licensing meeting, held 12th March 1902, at the Court House, Cromer, upon the personal application of Colonel Winter, the licence of the Grand Hotel was transferred from Arthur Gascoigne to Lieutenant-Colonel H. B. Winter, one of the directors.

Named the GRAND METROPOLITAN HOTEL at the Annual Licensing Meeting of Wednesday, 4th February 1903.

Name changed 28th October 1966 to ALBANY HOTEL.

Demolished, following a fire 1969/70 that made the structure unsafe.
