Sally A. Baker applied on Monday 12th January 1902, for an occasional licence, for 10:00am to 5:00pm, the following Monday, for a pigeon shooting match on Mr. Callow's field. Aware that such a licence had been granted to the house for several years previously, the magistrates said they were sorry, but under the new Act, they were not going to grant such licenses.
