Beerhouse keeper Robert Moyse was accused by Mary Ann Balls of using threatening language to her on 5th July. She was a married woman who "had lived in adultery with Moyse for five years." On the previous Monday she had married George Balls and Moyse had threatened to do her serious injury and cripple her for life.
Moyse was bound over to keep the peace.
