Tuesday 14th April 1835 - Fine of 5s having been accused of assaulting solicitors clerk John Abel on 22nd January. Mr. Dunning had objected to the pink and purple cockade that Able had worn and said he would not have such colours in his house "since the (Election) battle was over." Dunning had said he would eject Able, who had left using "foul words".
