For Sale by Auction Wednesday 4th April 1804, with garden, stable, out-houses and about One Acre of Pasture-land. In occupation of Mr. Raynor.

 

All the Live and Dead farming Stock, Household Furniture and Effects of James Rayner were to be sold on the premises 1st and 2nd October 1845, under an Assignment (of bankruptcy).

The final examination of the bankrupt James Rayner, Innkeeper, Post Master and Farmer was held Wednesday 11th February 1846.
Sundry Creditors were owed £1068 1s 7d.
There was capital of £97 1s 0d in furniture, effects and stock. With profits from the general business of Innkeeper, Farmer and Post Master, value of property, some £8 in bad debts, losses of £187 2s 8d and costs of £802 5s 6d, there was a deficiency of £5 17s 7d.


Bullards ceased to lease the premises as of 1937
according to a letter dated 26th February 1937.

Plans for structural alterations approved by Dereham magistrates Friday 8th October 1954.

Licence renewal not applied for 10th February 1967.
