At the Loddon licensing sessions Wednesday 13th February 1907 it was said that the licence of Jesse Garrard, at the Cherry Tree, had been renewed for the 58th consecutive year. Sarah Garrod, wife of Jesse, died 23rd March 1913, aged 84. (It was reported that she had been at the Cherry Tree for 55 years) |
A large quantity of Whitethorn Layer, three years growth, very clean and thrifty; also Oak and Ash Spring, were to be sold at Samuel Frost's, seething Garden House, February 1777.
