Queen of Hearts

Previously the CARPENTERS ARMS.

It was reported in the Daily Mirror 19th March 1949 that in addition to the Bar and Smokeroom for adults, the Queen of Hearts had a special service hatch for children, where Mrs. Mycock sold ice-cream.

 

Closure of this house and either the Ferry Boat or the Ship, proposed at the First Joint Committee Meeting of Bullards and Steward & Patteson 29th May 1962, subject to inspection by Mr. L. Canham.
Sales reported as 160 barrels
