Wednesday 22nd December 1852 - Alfred Powley, son of the landlord gave evidence against Levi Smith and John Chandler when they were accused of stealing sixteen half barrels of cured herrings from fish curer Charles Cannell of Row 123, Yarmouth.
Eight of the barrels had been discovered at the Angel Hotel and the rest in a warehouse at the Stracey Arms. Other equipment stolen at the time were discovered at the Norwich Arms, North Quay, Yarmouth.

Rebuilt during the 1960's.

Location given as Halvergate in 1968 survey.

Renamed the THREE FEATHERS from July 1999
