Mr. ROBERT SPICER at the Globe Hotel, Wells, on Wednesday the 22nd day of June 1870 at Three for Four o'clock in the Afternoon, a FREE PUBLIC-HOUSE called the "Refreshment Rooms" with excellent Garden and Outbuildings thereto belonging, situate near the Railway Station, now in the occupation of Mr. Robert Woolnough.

The above notice is the only record yet found. (No mention of Mr Woolnough in 1869 Post Office directory. He appears at Warham HORSE SHOES 1856 - 1865 and the STAR, Fakenham in the 1871 census.)
