The sale, upon the instruction of Mr. John Richardson senior, included:-

A complete 6 Coomb Brewing Plant.
About 150 Barrels, ½ Barrels and ¼ Barrel Casks.
14 Barrel Beer Stand.
Bean Mill by Garrod.
Malt Mill.
2 Brewers' Carts, Gig.
2 Sets Cart Harness, Gig Harness.
Bay Mare, six years old, in Foal.
2 Shoats;
and Other Effects.

 
  John Richardson died after a long and painful illness, 1st May 1878 - age 73
 
 
  All the Household Furniture of the late John Richardson sen. were to be Sold by Auction For Sale by Auction Monday 27th May 1878.
The Real Estate of Mr Richardson to be sold Wednesday 10th July 1878 as instructed by the Executor of the late Mr. John Richardson. The estate included the BELL, the DOVE, the Kings Head and land at Wingfield, Suffolk, the Residence of Mr. Richardson at Wortwell and Cottages and Land at Wortwell.
