Sarah Algar advised, 11th April 1829 that she had removed to the ROSE TAVERN, Back of the Inns.

Offered for sale by private contract October 1832.
Situated on Lower Goat Lane comprising Liquor Shop, with sitting-room adjoining, porter-room, two spacious drinking rooms upstairs and five sleeping rooms, wash-house, pantry and other conveniences, together with a large yard at the back of the house, communicating with Upper Goat Lane; also a Cottage, fronting Upper Goat Lane and very superior wine and porter stores under the dwelling house and part of the yard. Also a loft for the stowage of hampers and bottles.
Possession from 5th November 1832

The lease, due to expire Christmas 1847, was offered for sale by private contract 12th June 1847.
The house was said to be in full trade.
