The Fixed and Moveable Plant, Beer, Porter, drays, carts, Van, Harness, Valuable Household Furniture, Modern Plate, China and Glass of the Heigham Hill Brewery were to be sold by auction Tuesday and Wednesday, 10th and 11th March 1840.
Mr. Starling Day being the occupant.

Day one sale to include a very superior 13 barrel copper and another of 7 barrels, both nearly new, with large taps and furnace attached. A copper with tap in washing house, a quantity of lead and copper leads, liquor back, mash tun, with cast iron bottom, underback, hop-back, capital working square and rounds, coolers, lead wort pumps. a Scotch spargin machine, very complete windlass, stages, many lengths of lead pipe with brass cocks from backs, mash tun coolers, squares, &c, &c. A cooler house standing on pillars, 22 feet square, built with foreign red wood, with hip roof.... recently erected with bolts and screws to aid removal with ease.
The Moveable Plant including 30 pipes and butts, 20 hogsheads, number of barrels and half barrels, about 100 smaller casks, 20 capital stillions, ladders, two saccharometers, thermometers, also 25 barrels of fine old STRONG BEER, in pipes, 13 barrels of PORTER, 5 bags of Kent Hops, mahogany counting room double desk, a capital iron safe, with Bramah lock, 3 modern beer engines and pipes, 2 country drays, square cart, four-wheel van, harness, &c. &c.

The second day consisting of valuable Household Furniture, Modern Plate, handsome sets of China, Glass and other useful Household Requisites....
