First licence awarded Tuesday 2nd September 1856.

Location as New Lakenham in 1875.

Address as 36 Lewis Street from 1916.

Also found as the WYNDHAM ARMS.

6 day licence held from 1872, an application for a 7 day licence was refused 13.02.1904.

It was reported 11th November 1892 that a Co-operative Society van had driven into Trory Street and had bolted. The driver lost control of the horse. The van collided with the sign of the WYMONDHAM ARMS and knocked down the railings of Mr. Tash's house. An unfortunate child was playing in the garden and was knocked over.

Objections were raised against licence renewal, at the 1906 Sessions, based on structural matters. The Chief Constable reported that another business was carried out from the premises and the back doors opened into closed yards, common to neighbours. It was agreed that police objections would be withdrawn if suitable alterations were started on, or completed by, the adjourned Brewster Sessions.

Licence provisionally refused 09.02.1926 and referred to Compensation.
Closed under Compensation 31.12.1926.

Demolished.
