William Coble, beerhouse keeper, coal merchant and general dealer, an Insolvent Debtor, was to appear before the County Court at East Dereham, on 29th April 1851, for his first examination.

William Coble and blacksmith Robert Brunton, were charged Friday 13th June 1851 of feloniously stealing three turkeys, the property or Mr. Samuel Rosher, on the 10th June. The pair had been captured in Norwich in possession of two to the birds, a man named Baker was apprehended in Lynn with the other turkey in his possession. Baker was released on giving evidence against the other two, who were admitted to bail and ordered to appear at the next Quarter Sessions.

The house was converted to a Video store by 03.11.1999

Demolished 26th March 2003.
