03.10.1870 - Fine of 5s with 11s costs for allowing gaming (card playing) on his premises on 20th September 1870.
On Monday 15th May 1871, Henry Green and James Hooton jun. were charged with being in Gregory's ale-house during prohibited hours on Sunday 30th April. each were fined 5s and 8s costs. No mention of the licensee being convicted.

Licensee Thomas Gregory was charged at court, Monday 21st June 1869, with stealing  `mangold wurtzels' to the value of 8/-. Ann Green, farmer of Nordelph had the produce stored on land belonging to Gregory and it was for purloining these that the charges were brought. The case was dismissed.

Bullard & Sons Ltd applied, Thursday 25th June 1959 to install an extra bar and generally make improvements for the comfort of customers. Alterations included converting a bedroom in the private quarters to a bathroom. Application granted.

Location reported as Stow Bardolph 20th January 1906.
