The Chief Constable objected to licence renewal at the February 1906 Sessions. This was an old house, in bad repair. The Bar and Taproom were inconveniently small and supervision from the living room was not possible. The sanitary accommodation was bad. The house was very unsuitable as licensed premises, with 12 other houses within 200 yards.

The licence was provisionally refused 07.02.1906 and referred to Compensation.

Closed under Compensation 08.02.1907.
