Advertised To Be Let 14th and 21st December 1776, then in the occupation of Robert Wymer who was leaving to carry out a different business in the Country.
To be entered at Christmas 1776.


Joseph Collings informed the Public 18th January 1777 that he had left the WHITE HART, near St. Peters Church and fitted up the NEW INN in a neat and genteel Manner.

Proposed sale of January 1777 postponed.

Offered To Let November 1777 with entry at Christmas or sooner if desired, with several new built Stables, large and convenient Stable Yard and Ground belonging. All then in use of the Widow Collings.

John Skeets, for many years a Confectioner and Cook, advised 17th December 1777 that he had taken the New Inn and intended to take over at Christmas.

Sold 5th September 1778, then in the occupation of Mr. Skeate.

Advertised 18th September, 25th September and 2nd October 1779 - To be Sold or Let.
With all new built Stables, Coach Houses and other Buildings.
May be entered at Michaelmas.

A quantity of Household Goods and Furniture from the house was to be sold by Auction Thursday 7th October 1779.
